ZONING/TREE-per online--Ballard Tree Service has removed at least one 'Exceptional' coast redwood, more than 3 'Significant' trees and multiple big leaf maples from the ECA Critical Steep Slope on the West side of the property by Roosevelt Way NE. All carried out without any SDCI permits.

Per online: "Several large diameter trees were removed by Ballard Tree Service without removal permits. Some were on the critical slope along Roosevelt. Complaints were made at the time of the removal and nothing was done about it. I would like to request a meeting on site to look at with the evidence with you."

Per online complaint - Following previous removal of at least 11 trees including possibly 5 trees larger than the maximum DBH allowed in one calendar year, Ballard Tree Service is now removing the remaining big leaf maple trees that are on the critical 40% slope by Roosevelt. No permits are in place for this. Ongoing since 1/21/2016
