CO was leaking from my heater, and the gas was turned off for maintenance to be applied. I am unsure of the amount of time my heater had been leaking CO, and I was informed by maintenance that this leak was due to a misaligned vent. The gas to the heater has been shut off, but the heater itself has not been replaced yet. I have been advised to use another gas heater in the same unit but do not feel safe doing so. I went to the ER to have my blood tested and abnormal amounts of CO were found in
