I moved into this apartment in September, and from the minute I moved in, there was mold and evidence of water damage. In February, there was a building fire, which consequently caused the building to flood because of the sprinkler system. This made for extremely poor air quality, and the increasing presence of mold and mildew. The resident in question is keeping 9 animals in their 240 square foot unit. Mutual friends have expressed concern regarding the health and safety of these cats as well as their caregiver. Animal control has been to the residence and recommended I file a land use violation complaint with the zoning board.
