Tenant was renting downstairs unit, he gave notice that he was moving out. Rent was paid for the whole month. Before tenants could move out they were locked out of unit and was not able to get all of their belongings. Had to pay for a hotel and miss days of work due to this inconvenience. Had to spend unnecessary monies. Can tenant be compensated, what are rights?
