Tenant wants assistance working with Property Management, no communication is being had. Tenant reported a smell of gas in the common area of appartment complex, property mangament hasnt informed them of anything going on. Tenant feels concerned becaue there is no communication from management on possbile gas leak. The smell is now gone but tenant wants her property manager to communicate with the tenants and have an inspector check to make sure there is no violations.

Directly outside my 2nd story window is a glass awning that is periodically cleaned. The awning is only outside of my window and my neighbors window. I have been advised it is illegal to not notify me and my neighbor when the third party vendor comes to clean and should be notified just as we would if people are coming to clean our windows. Stairwells are all locked from the outside on every floor and if there is a fire and I get in any of the three stairwells from the fifth floor, just to find out that the stairwell is compromised on the second floor, I have no way to get back into the building to find a safe exit.
