Current lease ends 6/24, he has signed renewal. However, landlord is charging old rate from 6/1-6/31 plus 6/24-6/31 at new rate. Would like to know why he is essentially paying double for last week of June. Seeking tenant rights.

Unsanitary condition of hallways and stairwell near front entrance leading from basement to floor 1 to floor 2. First issue: urine and ammonia smell in this stairwell has lasted for over 6 months. It is disgusting and unsanitary. Second issue: the building owner or cleaner is using concentrated detergent with a toxic smell that is overwhelming and causes me to be lightheaded and experience discomfort. This is the second time they have used this kind of extreme detergent in a hallway
