Tenant was offered a renewal lease from old Mgmt that he hadn't signed yet. When he mentioned renewal lease to now new Mgmt. they said he has to go month to month. Tenant wants to sign the renewal lease he was first offered. Can they do this, what are rights? Lease expires today 5/31

Landlord cancelled lease last week, lease is up at the end of May. Tenant says they are trying to evict them, they've been trying to since 2020, no notice given yet. If tenants go month to month landlord will raise the rent and that will be a way to put tenants out. Tenants have been abused, what are rights?

I live at 12002 Roosevelt Way NE, 98125 and I have a property manager who will not attend to smoke detectors that keep beeping indicating they need new batteries. Supposedly other tenants have not filled out work orders to have them fixed or they have not removed them. This has been an ongoing occurrence since 5.26.23. The issue went away, but started again on 6.2.23 and has been since that date.
