I'm trying to get helpwith to pay my rentarrears and the landlord keeps giving agenciesfalse information.To the agencies I'veapplied for help, Ilook like a fraud.What are my rights?

Received 14-day notice to vacate, after being accused of not paying rent. I place my check in the lockbox, now they can't find it. I've been asked to stop payment, and re-issue. I stated I would deduct the stop payment fee of $25.00 from the rent. Can I do that? Also, I have been relocated to another unit in the building due to a flood in my unit, and the lock on the door of the temp unit does not seem secure.

NOISE--per online--There 2 units running compressors for an industrial refrigeration system located in the backyard 3 ft from the property line that run at between 70-80 decibels non-stop, cycling through different levels every few minutes. Our building is located next door (224 MInor AVE N) and we have several residents whose bedroom windows are very close to the source of the noise and it is a constant disturbance/annoyance.
