I have leased and rented the basement of this home. One, there is no thermostat or control for the heat. The landlord who lives upstairs has the thermostat. She is a major agitator and turns up the heat to annoy me, especially after I mentioned it in passing. Two, the stairwell that leads into the upstairs part of the property that is not leased, has a door at the top. This door has no lock on my side.
