My husband and I vacated our apartment at Sitka Apartments on August 1, 2026. Management withheld $300 from our security deposit for a charge listed as "Move-out: Excessive Wall Scratches/Repairs: Partial Paint $60/hour: 5 Hours." The hot water in my unit (and reportedly throughout the complex) has been consistently below the legal minimum temperature since April 23, 2026. Per recent measurements taken in our bathroom taps, the water temperature is reaching a maximum of 95°F in the evenings. Management has been aware of the issue since April 23rd. In a building-wide email sent on May 4, 2026, management admitted that the boilers are still malfunctioning and awaiting a replacement part, but they have provided no timeline
