On Friday, September 18 at 5.10am I was woken up by loud noises of heavy machinery being used right outside my window. Upon looking out of my window which is facing Thomas Street, I saw a large truck stopped on the corner of Thomas St and Yale Ave N making a very loud noise. They appeared to be doing something related to sewer access on that corner. The truck had a lift attached to it that may have been operated as well. My husband and I vacated our apartment at Sitka Apartments on August 1, 2026. Management withheld $300 from our security deposit for a charge listed as "Move-out: Excessive Wall Scratches/Repairs: Partial Paint $60/hour: 5 Hours."
