Int Insp 5/19/14 DG I called the complainant to verify which project he was complaining about. This construcion is a MRJ project.5/22/14 I called Steve Booth of MRJ. I explained the citation process and he agreed that they were in violation of the starting time for weekday construction.

The 1424 11th ave Chophouse project has been starting well before 7am on a number of days recently; most recently was this morning, when the concrete truck started setup at 6am and at least 6 people were already on the building hammering by 6:30. Recently, there was an iron grinder in operation at 6:15. I spoke with Steve Booth, the superintendent, who, while apologetic, called it a "calculated gamble."
