We have been living in Jack Apartments for almost a year. The bedroom light and fan remote was defective and every other night at 3am the light would come on we turn it off and come on again and obviously wake us up and often not able to go back to sleep. This went on for 5 months. Every email to the building manager went ignored. Also The toilet was making VERY loud noises every morning between 4-6am. This went on for 3 months. Hi, I have lived in the corner apartment at the Winston Building at 1019 E Pike St for several years now. A few months ago the Jack Apartments next door installed an extremely bright rooftop light that shines directly in the windows of my apartment, penetrating my blinds and making it difficult to look out my kitchen window at night.
