New property management company informed him of $500 increase, gave 180 days notice. They will not let him renew for a full year, only month to month so they can give him the full rent increase in July once the notice is valid. Tenant is wondering if they're required to give another option for a year lease or if they're allowed to only give him a month to month.

I have a broken sink head and a leaking dishwasher (the latter has been a recurring problem for at least a year now) and submitted maintenance requests over two weeks ago, with no traction since then. I have contacted various members of our property management company but have received no responses and no ETA on when these issues will be fixed. The dishwasher especially has been an issue I've had to continue submitting work orders for. They send someone out to fix it, but it never stays fix
