SEE 007852-22CP1. replace existing treads with 6 inch wide treads and in addition remove the carpet and install a non-slip coating to the treads2. leave stairs as is and install better railing to assist you with getting up & down the stairs. Removing the carpet from the stairs and applying a non-slip coating is also something we could do.

2014 told Bellwether resident manager, Jack Lanning, that the bathroom stair treads were dangerously short (7"). Noted that I and guests were struggling not to lose footing on them and 1 guest fell; despite there being a rail. At that time Jack said it was "too expensive" to rebuild them; staff Josh (w Jack present) suggested rebuilding in a way that would maintain full access to closet (it is a small "foyer" area).
