My neighbors and I have formed a tenants union. We posted fliers around the building, and most were torn down. We would like to know this violates the rights to organize a tenants union. We also want to know if we have a right to put up a community bulletin board or if we must get consent from the owner.

This building doesn't seem up to code , I have multiple blown fuses and a fire hazard electrical box that was installed haphazardly and is a concern for safety among many other problems.

There is a large, partially-full oil tank stored in the laundry room. It seems like a fire hazard. I talked with the last couple building managers about this issue but they always quit or get fired before it gets addressed. I don't think the owners care if this building burns down and probably hopes it happens, but I like living here.
