All Building tenants were evicted in 2025 under "just cause eviction" for installation of a sprinkler system. This permit was never executed and the units have been listed for rent at substantially higher prices. Owner is in violation of just cause eviction ordinance. Historically Landmarked building - LaQuinta apartments- all historically protected woodwork removed or damaged without permission from the landmark board or a permit. Gutters have been gone for weeks and full exposure to the elements along the roofing. excessive junk piles on the property with a lot of rats have remained now for weeks. Multiple parts of the landmarked roofing also damaged or ruined. Alley and sidewalks taped off without city permits.

No permit on display for extensive demo at the Laquinta apartments which are a historical landmark. The historical woodwork has been ripped down and is in the common space courtyard. I asked the workers for a copy of the permit and was ignored. Please make sure this has approval of landmark board and if so, the permit should be displayed. Numerous Hazardous materials including rusty nails and sharp metal seems very unsafe given there are children and pets residing here.
