I received a rent increase notice in Jan., effective Sept. however; the new lease offer did not contain the required language and my current lease expires in July. I reached out to the owner to clarify if we would go month to month between the dates and rent can't be increased if there is a current lease. He stated owner got hostile and would not take calls. The owner told him he would only communicate via email because tenant was creating an issue with the question
