Owner requested in an email dated 05/09/2009, we pay 1st months rent and sign new lease by 05/11/2019 or eviction processes would begin. She wants us to pay $5000.00 up front or $866.00 per month for 6 months. We have been here for 3 yrs and she never asked us to pay 1st months rent. This is a lot of money to come up with on short notice. What are our rights?
