The "stop work" notices were all torn down and the original leaded glass windows continue to be replaced with vinyl windows, without a certificate of approval.  The entire south side building has all new windows and the original siding (shingles) has been demolished.  I made a verbal complaint yesterday.  This is a blatant ignoring of the fact that this is an historical landmark.

Siding being fully removed from south side of 2012 43rd Avenue East buildings without permit (could not find when searched) and without permission by Landmark Preservation Committee - Management sent a note indicating "repairs" but then entire south side of building has had almost all siding removed in full. Owner of Lake Court is replacing landmark protected windows on property without landmark board approval or permits. All exterior portions of the property are designated landmarks and protected, owner must have approval from landmark preservation board and has not done so. The original leaded glass windows are being replaced with cheap vinyl window that do not go with the property, unsure if they are being thrown out or kept onsite somewhere.
