Complainant is under the impression that the building is slated for demolition - lease was renewed in August 2017 with new landlords. Lease states that rent increase will take affect Feb. 1st 2018. Tenants mailed in rent for Feb. without the additional rent money and it was returned by the landlords. HBMC violations are present and complainant feels as if a rent increase, though listed on the lease agreement, should be legal - exterior stairwell is decaying and unsafe; dryer is broken; previous
