AFCI installed during recent renovation, presumably, are feeding more than one circuit, including at least one example unit wired with green-earth-ground wire to the bedroom 120vac three-prong outlets, while the AFCI is also monitoring the Kitchen/Living room that has non such green-earth-ground wire in their conduit-on-the-surface feed.
