The building next door to ours has been worked on during the day for the last couple of months, and in doing so the road has been dug up and plates have been installed as of December. Our unit is a basement unit, and with every single car that drives by, I can feel the reverberations and rumbles of each car passing by through the plates that were placed on top of the holes dug up by Seattle Utilities. The tear down and construction at this address is not safe.  It's on a street that is both an entrance and exit to I-5 and has a walkable sidewalk only on one side.  The other side is not maintained by the city, with weeds and trash making a sidewalk that is too narrow for a wheelchair or parent and child or person and pet to walk safely on.  When the construction crew shuts down an entire portion of a sidewalk with no other way to pass safely, it makes the place those of us who live here unsaf
