I broke my lease just two months into my residency for unforeseeable issues. I was told I would have to forfeit my DEPOSIT & LAST MONTH RENT. I looked that over my agreement and agreed to it. I did a walkthrough and was under the impression we were squared away. They didn't ask for my mailing address upon leaving so it wasnt until a year later I found that they had billed me an additional $1,000- there was no description for the fine. POTA--per online--My landlord entered my apartment without my permission (the door was open, he walked right in), and harassed me in retaliation because I had requested disability accommodations. I had to ask him to leave a few times before he finally took one step out of the room. PER ONLINE COMPLAINT: There has been a problem in this building with heat and hot water. Currently, I have no heat in my apartment. Last week I also saw a violation notice on the door of the building for a heat violation.***(HZT NOTES: Complaint came in after close of business on Friday, 1/27/17. Staff received Monday morning at start of business.)

No heat in unit. Tenant notified management on Oct 13, 2016, has spoken to management an additional 10 times. Management provided a space heater, but tenant cannot use without blowing fuses. Property management is no longer responding to tenant's request for assistance.Complaint was placed by live-in S.O. (Amrita George, 908-216-6584) on behalf of and with permission of tenant.
