Cockroaches. I have 5 open maintenance requests starting on or around January 4, 2026. no one has been to my unit to inspect. I've been told the pest management people will come by and no one has yet. On Thursday (Mar 19, 2026) I found a baby cockroach in my bathroom sink. I captured it, killed it and showed it to property management. They said someone will be coming by this week but at this point I want to have someone on stand by incase they don't

Our apartment building is in violation of SMC 22.206.160.A.3 and RCW 59.18.060(4). We have been dealing with a German cockroach infestation that we are not at fault for since March 1st 2025. We have repeatedly contacted our apartment management and maintenance about the infestation and it has been ten days since our last Repair request was submitted without any response or further action, which has caused the infestation to worsen.
