CSB 26-00013436 Customer resides at Element 42 Apartments, 2641 42nd Ave SW and has lived at property for 9 years. The current landlords, Thrive/Rise, took over in March 2022 from Greystar. Upkeep of units and building facilities has never been kept up, even under the former management. Access to garbage facilities at this property is substandard. Seniors and people with disabilities are finding it hard to navigate the doorways and various placings of door handles, particularly the door leading from the elevator banks at the garage level to the garbage room itself. I have measured it and it appears to be non-compliant.

UPDATE COMMUNITY FROM MFTE TO MARKET: All MFTE properties are required to go through the Tenant Relocation Process per Seattle Municipal Code 22.210.040. There was a change in the code that had happened which requires all removal of rent or income restrictions buildings to go through the Tenant Relocation Process, which includes MFTE units.
