I moved out of my rental at 309 18th Ave E #103 on 5/26/2025. I paid an $800 deposit on 1/19/2016 which has not been returned. Tosca Apartments property owner alleged on 6/12/2025 that I owe for damages. The property owner did not provide a "full and specific statement" of alleged damages or documentation of repair costs. Pedimos muchas veces que se arreglaran las cosas, pero el edificio pospone o se olvida convenientemente de hacer el mantenimiento más básico. Los dueños del edificio son terribles. Todo lo que quieren hacer es cobrar el alquiler para llenar sus codiciosos bolsillos

I moved into this building a few months ago. Other people I have met in the building who have been here for longer than me say the building owner is retaliatory if you ask for anything to be mended. I am afraid to ask for a repair because I don't want my rent to go up again. My bf suggested I go here. Landlords keep raising rent prices for no reason. If this building owner retaliates I don't know what to do.
