Mom lives in MFTE unit, complainant is guarantor, water unit reading inaccurately. They've been charging her a lot for water, more than normal amount. There are no leaks. Tenant cannot afford to pay rent. Wanting to know if she can legally break the lease.

A lease renewal was received by the prior owner but not completed or executed before management change. Shea apartments has since acquired all leases as is and initial outreach requesting their lease renewal started on 03/09/24. Per Online; The landlord is forcing residents to sign up for a package delivery service, Parcel Pending, for an additional fee. This requirement and fee is not part of the lease agreement.
