When we started renting the house in April 2023, we did not know that the majority of the outlets in the living spaces were three-prong receptacles with no ground connection. There were also outlets in the basement with reversed hot and neutral wires, another safety concern. Once I discovered this, I reported it to our property manager immediately and disconnected all affected outlets.
