On December 8, the washing machine in my apartment stopped in the middle of the cycle and started beeping with an error code. The clothes were soaking wet, and there was a large puddle of water in the bottom of the machine. I immediately submitted a maintenance request on their online website. Nothing was done. On December 22, I e-mailed them stating that nothing was done and asked for reduced rent for the month. They denied my reduced rental payment and said they would fix it. On December

Apartment management notified us this morning just after 11am that for the rest of the week the exterior of the building will be getting painted, and if we don't move our cars out of our paid/assigned parking spaces between 6am and 6pm for an indeterminate number of days, they will get paint dripped on them. I don't know what specific code this violates but I can't imagine this is legal. What if anyone is out of town and unable to move their car on such short notice?
