Landlord excused all lease obligations in order to make up for the fact that they shut off our heat for 3 months and asked us to move out early. We siad yes and now they are denying that they said they would remove lease obligations (which we have in email writing) and are keeping a large sum of our deposit. The house had no heat for 3 months, extreme water damage, and no ceilings and they still said it was completely livable.

Per Online; Landlord has requested we vacate the property before the lease ends due to a heater issue. They shut off the heat for two months of the lease and provided us with small space heaters as a bandaid fix. One ceiling is completely missing with an active water leak.
