Construction at 3627 and 3629 1st Ave NW has consistently blocked the alley at the back of the property. This alley provides the only vehicle access point for units A-D at 3621. Tenants at 3621 are not notified of alley blockages, and it causes significant disruption for the tenants. Per Online; The construction site gave the neighboring residents less than 24 hours notice before shutting down the alley between 1st Ave NW and 2nd Ave NW. This alley is a dead end alley that has several parking spots on private property including for 3621 1st Ave NW. The notice we residents received states they intend to shut down the alley for hours at a time, making it impossible for us to access our parking spots. Per Online; The construction works blocks off access to the public alleyway consistently for an hour or more at a time. This alley leads to private parking belong to the properties on 3621 1st Ave NW and 3614 2nd Ave NW literally trapping our cars and making it impossible for us to leave. This seems unneccessary since this construction project has no parking signs up all along 1st Ave NW so there is another, wider point of access for them to use.
