Essex, the company that owns Velo and Ray apartments, is withholding security deposit after 1 year lease because renter did not leave the unit to professional cleaning standard. PER CSB: Violation of lighting ordinance - Velo Apartments at 3635 Woodland Park Ave. North has bright lights on their roof deck and they stay on every night until sunrise. They shine into my bedroom window a block away bright enough to make me squint. I have tried to contact the property and not received any meaningful response.

Noise. Fire alarm annunciator panel has been alarming every night for over 1 month.  Occasionally it will be silenced manually during the day but it is temporary.  The alarm will go off again in the evening. When it alarms, it goes off every 10 seconds. It is very loud and can be heard from inside my apartment. No timeline can be provided as to when this issue will be resolved. It disrupting my sleep and overall well being to hear it go off every 10 seconds.
