Builder of unit has improperly remodelled downstairs bathroom following warranty claim. Bathroom shower was remodelled, removing acrylic surround and replacing with tile. Tiled shower area and surrounding walls were not adequately waterproofed, leading to deterioration of nearby drywall and mold growth. Mortar, tile and grout were applied directly to existing drywall without water barrier.
