Due to the wiring of the entire building, every time a false fire alarm is pulled at 417 Broadway Ave E (QFC grocery store), all of the alarms in 400 Harvard Ave E (residential building on the other side of the complex) are activated and force residents to evacuate. In 2022 alone, the number of false alarms has been one per month at minimum, sometimes occurring multiple times per day.
