Complaint: Tree

Opened September 11, 2025

It seems there was some illegal topping of 4 large Douglas Firs on the property yesterday, Sept. 10, 2025. There didn't appear to be any tree permit posted anywhere. The workers were finished topping when I got there, and were cleaning the alleyway. They called the owner who said he wasn't chopping them, only trimming. But the tops of all 4 trees were chopped off. Photos available, if needed.

Illegal removal and/or topping of four large Douglas firs and one cherry tree at 3 pm on 9-10-25. When asked for their permit, the workers said they didn't need one because they were "just pruning" even though the trees were topped down to 20 feet at most. When told that was illegal and photos were being taken they hid their faces and drove away, but came back an hour later and did more cutting. No Notice of Tree Work, not a TSP.Reference 011645-25

Today, I passed by this property and four huge doug firs were illegally cut down. Three men were doing the cutting with 2 chainsaws and a cherry picker, with no protective equipment for two of the men. Their license plate was covered up on the cherry picker. They were with TREE SERVICE LLC, USDOT #368575, treeservice1@gmail.com, on their truck. The owner came out

Complaint: Land Use

Opened June 4, 2025 · Updated November 3, 2025

There is a barrel where oil from the restaurants in the building is dumped, which has leaked all over the dirt it is on, soaking the soil all around it in oil. People smoke there, which is very worrying as a fire risk, especially since this is within a few feet of the wooden building. This leakage from the barrel has been present for months with no action from the building's management to fix it.
