Complainant just moved his daughter out of the basement apartment in this building 1) he thinks it is an illegal unit, and 2) lack of a fire exit. He said there is only one 1' X 1.5' window in the unit, and the access stairs for a possible exit. Complainant stated there are really 8 rental units in the building, but the landlord pays for a post office box for 2 of the units, in order to make it appear that there are only 6 rentals.
