Tenant never receives new lease with updates or amendments. She just whites out the year. Refuses to give tenant new updated lease. Tenant wants to make sure this is legal. The current lease is from 2019. What are rights?

Lease is up at end of June for all units in big house. Landlord let tenants know she wants to raise the rent without proper notice. Landlord arguing because they plan on transferring units within the house, it's a new lease and therefore isn't obligated to give 180 days notice.

Detached garage coverted into dwelling unit - two young women are living in the illegal unit. Garage is partially visible from the street. Furthermore, the basement is used as another dwelling unit - complainant wants to make sure that's authorized.***Complainant will grant permission to view from private property***
