I am writing to report a violation of SMC 7.24.030 regarding a recent rent increase notice from my landlord.Description of Violation:Improper Delivery: My landlord attempted to notify me of a rent increase via Email/Text Message.Failure of Certified Mail: Seattle law requires delivery via Certified Mail with return receipt, which I have not received.Effective Date: The landlord is attempting to enforce this increase

My landlord (Lightbox, The Kennedy Apartments) issued a "Notice to Enter" for pest control scheduled on September 23, 2025.
