Moved in to apartment in September. Construction for seismic retro fit, turned into abatement, turned into roof torn off. Rain started, rained in his apartment. He is now put up in a hotel. Came back to apartment and found his things soaked. They have now given him a place to store items. The hotel is now full and he is being transferred to a northgate hotel that is now a one hour commute from UW (where he attends). Her rented the apartment because it is a 10 minute walk to classes.

My roof has been leaking since may. I was moved to a lower apartment to get away from a leaking but was made to move back up by the landlord. However, the roof is still leaking. The landlord has also moved people onto the top floor after the start of the leaks and those people got leaked on, damaging private property.

The ceiling paint collapsed on my cat before we left. They still have not properly sealed the roof, our apartment is still wet and has been unlivable for two weeks now, and rain water continues to leak into the apartment. We have been living in hotels since this happened. We cannot live in the unit and they have wrapped all of our belon
