Jevons Property Management has told the residents there is no way to pay rent without a fee as of the end of this July. There was no warning and this is not in our leases. This is what the email said: Dear residents,I hope all is well!This is to inform you that rent can be paid online through the tenant portal with a checking or savings account, or with a credit or debit card with the following convenience fee.Credit: 3.49%Debit: $9.99eCheck: $2.49 beginning on 7/31/23

The entry/exit door that is shared by three apartment units is not self locking and is leasily (and often) eft unlocked for any person off the street to enter. In addition to this major safety violation, the owner was cited in the past for a fire door in the same hallway not closing properly- rather that repair it, they removed it. If this was necessary for fire safety, this is also a safety concern
