Improper food waste storage and disposal / harboring a nuisance at 4837 S Holden St. Food waste container at 4837 S Holden St has not been collected since at least June 2025, presumably because it is filled with plastic waste. We next door at 4833 S Holden have been dealing with repeated damage from the rats that are attracted to this abundant food source. The compost bin for this apartment building regularly has garbage in it, causing Waste Management (understandably) to not pick it up, in turn causing food waste to pile up in and around the bin. The yard waste bin is frequently overflowing, with the lid open. When this happens, we see rats around this bin and recently have begun seeing rats in neighboring vehicles and yards. We are also flagging this issue with King County Public Health.

I've been dealing withmold in my unit forover a year. Management is aware, and all theyhave done is cut apatch of the wallwith visible moldNo plan to addresspossible mold behind the wall. Ihave had severalhealth issues duringthis time. I was never offered anycompensation orrelocation while themold issue is dealtwith. I also havean ant infestation.
