I am a tenant in an apartment building at 5121 17th Ave NW. The building management recently changed hands to a new company. In august we were notified of an external painting project scheduled for August 4-22. Since then, there has been ongoing work going on above our unit (I believe they are building something on the roof) pretty much every day (including today). I have reached out to management numerous times for updates and received no response. I checked the construction permits for our ad

The landlord continues to store junk, namely old appliances, on the property, in a common area. Landlord is also still failing to notify tenants of work on the building and contractors parking their vehicles in the parking area. This has been going on for a year.

Construction work has continued in this residential building for much oft he year. Tenants receive no notice of disruptions to their ability to use common areas, including the driveway. Recently work has begun before 9 a.m., violating 25.08, the Noise Ordinance.
