State law (RCW 70.160) bans smoking within 25 feet of public entrances, exits, and windows that open. The Lock & Keel (business, eating/drinking) does not enforce a smoking ban within 25 feet of it's neighbors doors and windows. It also does not have a notice posted to prevent people from doing so. It is not reasonable to call the code complaint line on smokers but we would like SDCI to investigate whether a sign needs to be made visible.
