I recently stayed at a rental in Judkins Park at 515 26th Ave S, Seattle WA 98144 and I'm concerned about the basement bedroom not having an emergency exit of any kind. It is a space with no windows and the only access is through a trap-door in the floor of the kitchen's pantry. Should there be any kind of fire in the kitchen, anyone in the downstairs basement would not have any means of a secondary escape nor could fire crews reach any occupants in the room.
