Complaint

The apartment construction at 519 N Bowdoin / 520 N 39th St re-did the street at the top of the stairs on Bowdoin Pl. As part of the construction they put in a new sewer grate -- but they failed to complete construction, there is still some kind of felt-like liner around the grate which was not removed. This causes the sewer grate to get clogged more easily with leaves and overflow.

Complaint

Opened June 20, 2024

There is construction for a new apartment building at this location. The workers/contractors are parking their trucks/cars in the zoned parking on 39th St. between Dayton and Evanston for more than two hours at a time. They are taking away spots from those who have permits/live in the townhouses. I was told that I couldn't park in front of my house by one of the workers even though there are no posted signs.
