The small brick garages directly behind Subject address are a illegal nuisance to homeowners and renters in the immediate area. The criminal element uses yhe garages for drugs sales, fencing of stolen property, illegal drug use, harassment of passers by and a host of other dangerous activities. Including a base to store items stolen from neighboring buildings and vehicles. This is an ONGOING ISSUE THAT NEEDS ATTENTION TO KEEP THESE SPACES SECURED SO THEY'RE NOT USED FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES

The Dakar apartment building 520 Summit Ave E has unsecured trash bins that reside in the alley between Summit and Belmont Streets near Mercer. The trash is constantly piled feet deep in the alley right of way and flowing onto surrounding properties. There is quite notable rodent activity, mice and large rats. All other properties in the area secure their trash. Have contacted the property and it's management dozens of times with no improvement over the past 12 months. Building refuses to
