The ceiling of the apartment is peeling. I asked the management whether the ceiling contained asbestos and was told it did not. I recently had the ceiling material tested, and it does have asbestos. I am concerned about my health as parts of the ceiling are peeling or have been scraped, and there is asbestos dust in the apartment.

Wants housing inspection: has only lived in apt. since February 2010 has had multiple major issues which mgmt has somewhat slow to fix. Tenant is new mom with small infant. Currently leaking from upstairs bathroom - ceiling has been torn out since 4/25/10 and Pacific Crest Apartment Mgmt says they can't begin work on this again until 4/28/10. Sounds bad - think this inspection should be prioritized.
