I am a tenant at Union Bay Apartments (Apt #105), and I am filing this complaint due to multiple, ongoing habitability and safety violations that have gone unresolved for several months, despite both verbal and written communication with management. These issues have significantly impacted the livability, safety, and quiet enjoyment of my unit. The violations include:Broken windows that cannot be closed or locked (RCW 59.18.060; SMC 22.206.130)Construction debris and extension cords

The fire alarm keeps faulting out. This has happened twice July 8th and July 16th both around 4 am. Firefighters came and said it was a faulty alarm but management has done nothing to fix it. I can't tell if it the entire builder or just a select number of units

per csb: NEGLECTED SMOKE / FIRE ALARM DISRUPTING ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD. A vacant unit at Union Bay Apartments (526 Yale Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109) has had a smoke alarm chirping for the past two weeks. This unit is facing the alley and this chirping echoes across the neighborhood EVERY 30 SECONDS DAY AND NIGHT. This neglect towards the building/neighborhood makes me feel like a second class citizen as a renter. Please enforce upkeep of equipment that is critical for emergencies!
