The building management did an unpermitted exhaust system retrofit a year ago and did not adequately address high pressure portions of the building using inadequate backdraft dampers and causing mingling of air spaces between units. They are delaying any requests to repair the situation by claiming they must only work with some random hvac vendor in Utah.
