The apartment building has been undergoing renovations for several months. They are operating outside of the house limit times. This morning Saturday 9/26/2026 for example they started at 8 AM they listen to loud music on top of constant drilling, sawing and other noises. They prop open and leave open fire doors, leave debris in hallways for weeks as well including drywall and other debris

I received a rent increase notice that describes what happens if I sign a new lease but doesn't say anything about what happens if I stay month-to-month. I emailed the landlord prior to when the increase was supposed to go into effect saying I would stay month-to-month at my current rate but they're taking the position it's a valid notice and that the new rate/fees are owed. It was supposed to go into effect March 1.
